dss+ in Chicago is seeking consultants to join our operations risk, operational excellence, and sustainability practice. You will work with leading industrial clients across metals & mining, chemicals, energy, and manufacturing to improve safety, performance, and compliance.

The role combines advisory and hands-on delivery: you will structure projects, participate in client interactions, develop risk and safety systems, design trainings, and coach teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and drive improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities in multicultural teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
• Commitment to developing expertise across client operations.
• 1–3 years of experience in consulting or industrial operations.

Responsabilités

• Work across industry sectors with a team of experienced consultants to improve clients' operational capabilities.
• Structure and prepare projects, participate in client interactions, and generate senior-management outputs.
• Develop safety leadership and culture, reduce operational risks, and enhance systems and capabilities.
• Deliver assessments, design and deliver training, and create operational risk management systems.
• Facilitate workshops, provide coaching, and deliver technical advice to clients.
• Manage projects with planning, governance, and risk management to ensure successful execution.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills across domestic and international client engagements.
