About the Role

Our client is looking for a forward-thinking Industrial Operations Engineer to join their team, operating remotely with support for their operations in Welkom . This role is critical for driving operational efficiency and implementing best practices across the company's industrial activities. You will leverage your expertise in process analysis, system optimization, and project management to identify and execute improvements that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker capable of working autonomously and collaborating effectively with teams across different locations to achieve ambitious operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of industrial operations to identify areas for optimization in terms of efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Develop and implement strategic operational improvement plans , utilizing data-driven insights and best practices in industrial engineering.
• Manage and execute projects aimed at improving production processes, supply chain logistics, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with site managers and operational teams to ensure the successful implementation and sustainability of process enhancements.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track operational performance and progress towards strategic objectives.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, facilitating workshops and training sessions on lean principles and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial operations or a similar process improvement role.
• Proven track record in leading operational efficiency projects and implementing lean methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and simulation software.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results in a remote setting.
