Job summary

Reworld Metals Management is seeking an Operations Assistant to provide hands-on administrative and operational support in a heavy industrial facility. You will handle production data entry, work order processing, and inventory control while assisting with material handling and offsite errands.

The role requires the ability to lift 25 lbs, operate in an active plant environment, and comply with safety procedures, with training provided for forklift use and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial, warehouse, plant support, or operations assistant preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; may require offsite travel.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain daily production data in facility systems and reports.
• Create, update, and track work orders and service requests for operations and maintenance teams.
• Receive, process, and document incoming non metal deliveries (e.g., plant and office supplies).
• Support inventory management including tracking, organization, and periodic counts.
• Physically receive inbound deliveries and move materials using forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Perform tip floor sampling, lifting up to 25 lbs, per safety procedures.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance to ensure timely parts availability.
• Occasional offsite errands to machine shops, suppliers, or hardware stores.
