Job summary

Insteel Industries is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician in Dayton to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems of industrial machinery. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and efficient operation across equipment such as motors, drives, PLCs, and HMIs.

Qualifications

• Broad technical training with shop mathematics and reading drawings/specs.
• Minimum 3–5 years electrical experience in manufacturing.
• Multi-craft experience in manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems of industrial machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections for mechanical integrity.
• Lockout/Tagout and Arc Flash safety compliance.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Install and service motors, drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Record logs and work orders in MAXIMO CMMS.
