Job summary

Insteel Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our Dayton, Texas operation. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on industrial equipment, following safety protocols and blueprints.

The role requires multi-craft experience in manufacturing, with 3–5 years electrical background preferred, and familiarity with MAXIMO CMMS for work orders and logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1–2 years of apprenticeship or trades training.
• Minimum 3–5 years electrical experience preferred in manufacturing.
• Multi-craft experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (5–7 years).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on industrial machinery.
• Read blueprints and electrical diagrams to install and repair components.
• Perform planned/scheduled preventive maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
• Operate MAXIMO CMMS to create and update work orders and track history.
• Ensure safety practices including Lockout/Tagout and Arc Flash compliance.
