Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an Industrial Maintenance professional to join the Evergreen EWP Plant maintenance team in Castleberry, AL. This role focuses on safely repairing, modifying, installing and maintaining heavy lumber manufacturing equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The position requires willingness to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay ranges from $28.17 to $33.80 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in industrial mechanical work.
• Commitment to safety and strong work ethic.
• Experience with machinery lubrication.
• Ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical transmissions.
• Experience with bearings, belts, sprockets, and chains.
• Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with metal fabrication and cylinder repair.
• Basic knowledge of industrial electricity.
• Follow electrical/maintenance practices and pass pre-employment exam.
