Job summary

Met-Con Construction Inc. in Minnesota seeks an Equipment Technician to install, assemble, and maintain industrial machinery. You will perform layout, alignment, and base setting, coordinating with other trades and customers to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Responsibilities include precision alignment, welding, rigging, and field fabrication while upholding safety and quality standards on projects within about 60 air miles of Faribault, MN. 7:00am–3:30pm shift; pay starts at $25+ hourly.

Qualifications

• Equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and set equipment in various environments.
• Perform layout, leveling, grouting, anchoring, and base setting.
• Conduct precision alignment of rotating equipment and install couplings, bearings, seals.
• Use rigging to lift and place machinery with hoists, cranes, and related gear.
• Read blueprints and coordinate with other trades; perform field fabrication as needed.
• Weld on equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area; follow safety practices.
