Job summary

Optimus-Steel-LL is seeking a Multicraft Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance and repair on mill equipment and tools, ensuring reliable operation in a variety of industrial conditions. The role requires hands-on ability to dismantle, repair, lubricate, reassemble, fabricate, and perform general maintenance tasks.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and 2+ years in an industrial maintenance setting, with willingness to climb, bend, stand, or lift as needed, and

Qualifications

High School/GED is required.
2+ years in an industrial environment on a mechanical maintenance craft.
Experience working in extreme weather conditions.
Willing to climb, bend, stand, or lift items.
Must be able to pass a written test, in-person interview, and hands-on assessment.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair operations to keep the mill, equipment, machinery and tools in good operating condition.
Dismantle, repair, lubricate, reassemble, fabricate or work on general maintenance in varied capacities at a basic level of machine repair, pipefitting, plumbing, millwright, and welding.
