Job summary

hth companies in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Millwright to repair, install, and maintain industrial equipment across the Midwest. You will read blueprints, work with pumps, turbines, conveyors, and piping, and troubleshoot issues on varied indoor/outdoor sites.

The role requires safety focus, ability to read schematics, and strong teamwork. Candidates should be comfortable with hand and power tools, welding, brazing, and lifting up to 50 lbs; on-site problem solving and adaptability are

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong safety knowledge and procedures.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Ability to work in varied conditions (wet/dry, hot/cold).

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment.
• Assembles, installs, aligns, and adjusts piping, valves, pumps, and other equipment.
• Tests machines and makes modifications to meet specifications.
• Dismantles existing equipment as needed.
• Gathers and assembles parts for repairs based on blueprints.
• Troubleshoots and repairs machines and systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance on aging equipment.
• Provides recommendations on new machinery to management.
• Plans and facilitates installation of new or refurbished machinery.
• Conducts safety inspections of facilities.
• Maintains safety logs and inspection details.
• Assists with jobsite safety per OSHA regulations and the company Safety Program.
• Champions a positive workplace safety culture.
• Performs other duties as required.
