Job summary

American Crystal Sugar Company in Drayton, North Dakota, seeks a House Mechanic to perform a wide range of millwright maintenance tasks, from inspection and parts replacement to refurbishment and optimization of equipment performance. Candidates should have a 2-year technical degree or millwright apprenticeship with 2+ years of experience, or a high school diploma with 5 years industrial millwright experience.

Testing and a safety screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must have millwright background and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Must complete millwright, welding and basic skills testing.
• Must pass a Safety Screen to verify safe work capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, replace parts, align, balance, install, and refurbish equipment.
• Understand operating principles to optimize equipment performance.
• Collaborate with Production to ensure effective maintenance interventions.
• Perform joining and fabrication: weld (SMAW, GMAW) carbon steel and stainless steel.
