Interfor is seeking Industrial Millwrights for our Monticello, Arkansas facility to apply mechanical, hydraulic, and fabrication skills in a fast-paced, high-production setting.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, performing preventative maintenance, fabricating with steel, diagnosing hydraulic issues, and adhering to lock-out procedures while delivering timely repairs. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of millwright experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing/warehouse/lumber operations experience preferred.
• Ability to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance duties.
• Cut, weld, and fabricate with different types of steel.
• Assess and repair machinery and hydraulic problems promptly.
• Determine shaft sizes, measure up, and build shafts for replacement.
• Replace sprockets, bearings, and chains.
• Adhere to lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Submit work requests and complete work orders.

Top Pay & Incentives

• Starting Pay Rate: $29.35 per hour with advancement opportunities and pay increases based on skill level and experience.
• $2.00 per hour Night & Weekend Shift Differential
• Quarterly Gainshare Bonus (performance based)

What You’ll Do

• Read and understand equipment drawings and blueprints.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance duties.
• Cut, weld, and perform fabrication work with different types of steel.
• Assess and repair machinery and hydraulic problems in a timely manner.
• Determine shaft sizes, measure up, and build shafts for replacement.
• Recognize and change sprockets, bearings, and chains etc.
• Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation.
• Submit work requests and complete work orders.
• Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
