Florida Crystals Corporation in South Florida operates cane sugar mills and a refinery, and seeks an entry-level Utility maintenance associate responsible for cleaning and maintaining mill premises and equipment. The role involves using brooms, mops, and cleaning products, with occasional ladder or catwalk work.

Must have GED or high school diploma, a valid driver license, and willingness to work rotating shifts. Emphasis on safety, hygiene, and reliability is required for this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Must have GED or High School Graduate.
• Understanding of Quality and focused on performing Quality Work.
• Required to attend yearly safety training.
• Knowledgeable about Industrial Safety and possess Safety Awareness.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekend and have a reliable means of transportation if necessary.
• Able to demonstrate and maintain good hygiene practices.
• Physically fit for labor work, including: standing, bending, lifting up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to understand, read and write some English.

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain mill premises using brooms, mops and cleaning products.
• Work in high places and climb ladders or catwalks when required.
• Report anomalies to supervisor and assist with safety training.
• Perform cleanup after shifts and spills and ensure hygiene standards.
• Follow PPE protocols and quality control practices.
