Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. seeks a Painter Technician to prepare and paint components to quality and safety standards for shipping. You will mix primers and topcoats, inspect paint thickness, and maintain paint guns and booths on a busy shop floor.

Ideal candidates have prior automotive epoxy painting experience and the ability to read English, follow procedures, and operate related equipment like forklifts in a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred; education plus experience considered.
• Experience painting with automotive grade epoxy paints on assemblies.
• Ability to read and communicate in English and read work instructions.
• Ability to use measurement tools and basic math for fabrication.
• Familiarity with safety and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and assemblies for painting following safety rules.
• Mix and apply primer and topcoat to meet quality standards.
• Inspect wet and dry paint thickness and ensure durability.
• Maintain and clean paint guns, pumps, and booths.
• Monitor material levels and report shortages to supervision.
• Operate forklift as needed for moving components.
• Follow NCR processes and cooperate with engineering and QA.
