Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. in High Point, NC is seeking a Painter Technician to prepare parts and assemblies for painting and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. You will mix primers and topcoats and inspect paint film thickness to meet life expectations.

The role requires hands-on painting experience (6 months–5 years) and the ability to read/communicate in English, operate painting equipment, and maintain a safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 6 months–5 years of painting experience with automotive grade, three-part epoxy paint.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Handle paint waste disposal and cleanup guidelines.
• Move large components using a forklift.
• Disassemble and reassemble paint guns as needed.
• Troubleshoot paint gun, pump, and booth systems.
