Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. seeks a Painter Technician to prepare and paint components to quality and safety standards for shipping. You will mix primers and topcoats, apply paint to parts and assemblies, and inspect paint film thickness to ensure durability.

The role requires prior painting experience, the ability to read English and follow instructions, and basic shop-floor math for measuring and mixing. You’ll work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, following safety rules and documenting work as

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency preferred; education plus experience considered.
• 6 months–5 years painting experience with automotive epoxy paints.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to read/interpret work instructions and UL standards.
• Basic computer data entry and familiarity with databases.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and tape measures.
• Basic arithmetic for measurements and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and assemblies for painting following safety standards.
• Mix primer/topcoat and apply paint; inspect film thickness.
• Maintain paint equipment and assist with gun/booth troubleshooting.
• Ensure safe, organized work area and adherence to NCR processes.
• Communicate issues with peers and supervisors; support quality goals.
