Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is hiring a Technician III – Industrial Mechanical for third shift to install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, review blueprints and NEC codes, and work with maintenance records.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Industrial Mechanical/Machinist, 4+ years in electrical/electronic repair, and can operate saws, drills, and lifts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Industrial Mechanical/Machinist.
• 4+ years in machine based Industrial Electrical/Electronics.
• Ability to operate various saws, drills, bench tools and hand tools.
• Familiar with work order systems and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect machinery and facilities and make recommendations for changes in procedures and structures.
• Install, maintain, inspect, and initiate repairs and correction of machinery and equipment.
• Locate parts and prices to effect repairs, complete required forms for purchases.
• Use the National Electrical Code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and associated equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed using Fixx work order system.
• Keep work area in clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Operate forklift or boom lift.
• Other duties as assigned
