Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is seeking a Technician II – Industrial Mechanical for the 2nd shift to install, repair, and maintain machinery and the facility’s electrical systems. This role requires hands-on manufacturing experience and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, read schematics and blueprints, and keep accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years in Industrial Mechanical/Machinist environment.
2+ years in machine-based Industrial Electrical/Electronics.
Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to operate various saws, drills, bench tools and hand tools.
Familiar with work order systems.

Responsibilities

Observe and inspect machinery and facilities; recommend changes.
Install, maintain, inspect, and repair machinery and equipment.
Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers and electronic components.
Diagnose and replace mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
Maintain maintenance records using the work order system.
Operate forklift or boom lift as required.
Other duties as assigned.
