Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is hiring a Technician III – Industrial Mechanical for the 3rd shift. You will install, repair, and maintain complex machinery and equipment in an industrial setting, using schematics, blueprints, and NEC guidelines.

You must have substantial experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance, be able to work with minimal supervision, and operate tools and powered access equipment such as forklifts or boom lifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years in Industrial Mechanical/Machinist
• 4+ years in machine based Industrial Electrical/Electronics
• Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect machinery and facility and make recommendations for changes in procedures and structures.
• Install, maintain, inspect, and initiate repairs and correction of machinery and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, electrical and electronic components of automated machinery.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and associated equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work using Fixx work order system.
• Operate forklift or boom lift.
• Other duties as assigned
