Job summary

C&W Services in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Technician Mid Skilled to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, piping, heat exchangers and other rotating equipment.

You will work in a team-focused, safety-conscious environment with training provided; weekly pay, benefits from day one, and safety apparel are part of the package. The role requires hands-on use of hand and power tools, ability to read blueprints, and willingness to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 0 to 5 years mechanical experience preferred.
• 1-2 years education in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of hand/power tools and safety procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Familiarity with pumps, piping, heat exchangers and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, piping, and rotating equipment.
• Carry out welding and cutting per established standards when required.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Read blueprints and interpret technical diagrams for work tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines and PJHA processes; support team objectives.
• Maintain accurate work orders and document activities.
