Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician II specializing in Mechanical & Robotics in Monroe, OH. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment in a high-volume facility, diagnosing issues, and performing preventive maintenance to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

You will work hands-on with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including conveyors and robotics-related equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Strong electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills, incl. three‑phase power and motors.
• Experience with conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic components.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics and blueprints.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on industrial machinery.
• Inspect and repair conveyor systems and related components.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Use technical documentation to identify root causes and implement repairs.
• Perform maintenance following safety standards and procedures.
• Coordinate repairs with the Operations Maintenance team to minimize production impact.
• Document maintenance activities and parts used for records and improvement.
• Share knowledge and provide informal leadership to team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance strategies.
