Aerotek seeks a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (Maintenance Technician II) in Goodyear, AZ. The role focuses on maintaining automated packaging, distribution, and material handling equipment, including conveyors and robotics, with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and data-driven work orders.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with blueprints/electrical schematics, and strong CMMS and PLC skills.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience performing predictive and preventive maintenance on industrial automated systems.
2+ years repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyors and controls.
2+ years reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
2+ years knowledge of electrical and electronic principles applied to industrial equipment.
2+ years experience in equipment and industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
1+ year troubleshooting and diagnostics on MHE systems or similar automated equipment.
1+ year experience using Microsoft Office products.
Experience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or other industrial settings with automated systems.
Hands-on experience with automated conveyors and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment including conveyors and MHE.
Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, robotics, batteries, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Document PM routines and PM sheets accurately and on time.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
Use CMMS to manage work orders and track equipment history.
Record downtime and maintenance data for performance tracking and improvement.
Read blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
Apply electrical/electronic principles to identify faults in automation and building systems.
Diagnose PLC-based control system issues in automated conveyors.
Follow OEM safety standards and site safety policies.
Manage department inventory including spare parts and supplies.
Collaborate with teams to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Stay open to learning new robotics and automation technologies.
