Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician II for a Goodyear, AZ facility. The role focuses on installing, servicing, and maintaining automated packaging, distribution, and material handling equipment to keep systems running safely and efficiently.

You will use CMMS to manage work orders and document maintenance activities. The position requires strong troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, reading blueprints, and applying safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in industrial/automated maintenance.
• Experience repairing material handling equipment and conveyors.
• Ability to read blueprints/electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic principles in industrial settings.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic maintenance.
• Experience diagnosing MHE systems and PLC-based controls.
• Proficient with CMMS and work-order processes.
• Strong safety compliance in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment including conveyors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, robotics, batteries, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Document preventive maintenance routines and PM sheets on time.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders and track equipment history.
• Enter downtime data into daily logs for performance tracking.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
• Follow OEM safety standards and site safety policies.
• Collaborate with operations to reduce downtime and support production.
• Learn new technologies including robotics and automation.
