What’s The Job?

Title: Industrial Mechanical Planner/Scheduler

Location: Blair, Nebraska

Salary: Up to $35.00 per hour depending on experience

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8-hour days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 4-day workweek, 10-hour days, Mon-Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

What Will I Be Doing?

Here are some of the daily responsibilities:

  • Work in a team-oriented, safety-conscious environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Review equipment specifications and blueprints, estimate materials and labor.
  • Have working knowledge of industrial applications/machinery, Microsoft Office, electrical systems, and SAP-PM.
  • Develop job tasks and procedures, establish manpower and equipment needs, assist in material ordering, develop schedules, and attend planning meetings.
  • Maintain good attendance and professional communication skills.
  • Accurately code data, prepare reports, and handle administrative duties such as time tracking and work order completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Achieve performance goals and participate in employee development planning.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to support planning and company objectives.
  • Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting up to 50 pounds, operating tools and vehicles, and working in various environmental conditions.

Note: This role requires knowledge of pumps, motors, conveying systems, bearings, dryer systems, and rigging.

  • Experience: 2 years in procedures/data entry
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Electrical experience preferred
  • Microsoft certifications preferred
Physical Demands

Must meet physical requirements such as close detail observation, manual dexterity, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating machinery and tools.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, extreme temperatures, and loud noise. Accommodations available for disabilities.
