Job summary

Default Brand is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support mechanical and electrical maintenance across our Ohio facilities. The role requires performing scheduled maintenance, assisting with projects, and upholding safety, environmental, and quality policies.

Candidates must complete the selection process and skill assessment for their field, with shifts including day, night, and overtime. The position emphasizes adherence to 5S, clean work areas, and teamwork within a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• Candidates must have successfully completed the selection process for the maintenance technician and pass the skill assessment for their field.
• Must comply with Federal, State, and Local requirements related to generating and disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste material.
• Follow all Plant/Companies rules, policies and procedures and contractual agreements.
• Conform to expected conduct in a business environment.
• Follow the Quality, Environmental and Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical or electrical maintenance as required to maintain the operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Work on projects as scheduled or required to maintain the operation.
• Required to assist in training others.
• Participate in all audits: STOP Audits, GO Audits, internal audit, cross facility, management and third party registration audits.(These are not an all inclusive list, but represent common examples).
• Adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards and responsible for clean up of work areas upon completion of tasks.
• Ensure maintenance work meets required standards
• Participate in required training and successfully complete required assessments or testing to verify understanding and knowledge
• Required to work ina safe,efficient, effective and reasonable pace.
• Other duties as assigned.'
