Job summary

FASCore Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Mechanical Specialist to ensure reliable operation, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment at our Jeffersonville, Indiana project. You will apply expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and HVAC/R to keep production running efficiently.

Join a hands-on team focused on safety, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration with engineering and production to plan repairs and document maintenance in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing facility with strong industrial mechanics and maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems with diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC/R, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment repair.
• Proficiency reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Welding skills, including stick welding.
• Industrial electrician or industrial mechanic certifications preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics with voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low-voltage testers.
• Repair and maintain HVAC/R systems, including chillers, air handlers, and ventilation units.
• Use stick welding and other techniques to repair or fabricate mechanical components.
• Read electrical blueprints and schematics to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Operate scissor lifts safely for access during maintenance tasks.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on complex issues and process improvements.
• Communicate equipment status and repair timelines with production teams.
