Cleveland-Cliffs New Carlisle I L.P. in New Carlisle, IN, is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain equipment and automation.
You will read blueprints, perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, conduct preventive maintenance, and ensure safety. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, passing the Mechanical Qualification test, and experience in heavy industrial maintenance; rotating shifts may apply.
Location: New Carlisle, IN - Cleveland-Cliffs New Carlisle has an immediate opening for an Industrial Mechanic in its New Carlisle, Indiana operation. The Industrial Mechanic position is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining equipment, and automation equipment throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing mechanical maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
The starting pay range for this role is $35.36/hour with a quarterly incentive plan.
