Job summary

GEORG North America, Roanoke, VA, seeks an experienced Project Manager – Industrial Manufacturing Operations to lead manufacturing process improvements and drive operational excellence. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and optimize procurement and vendor performance to enhance production execution.

The role requires strong analytics, Lean/Six Sigma familiarity, and ERP/project management experience in a heavy equipment environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, industrial project management, procurement, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
• Experience implementing project tracking, budgeting, or ERP/project management systems; PMP preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor sourcing, subcontract manufacturing, and supplier management.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, workflow efficiency, production scheduling, and operational performance.
• Analyze procedures to identify cost-reduction, lead-time, and productivity opportunities.
• Develop standardized processes, reporting structures, and performance metrics; coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Implement project management systems to improve visibility of schedules, budgets, and costs; track profitability.
