Georg North America seeks an experienced Project Manager - Industrial Manufacturing Operations to support and improve operational excellence at its Roanoke, VA manufacturing site. The role requires strong manufacturing operations expertise, project management, and procurement coordination to boost efficiency and cost control.

You will lead process improvements, manage budgets, and drive supplier performance while collaborating across engineering, production, and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations and industrial project management.
• Experience with procurement and heavy equipment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing reporting tools.
• PMP certification or project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process improvements and operational performance enhancements.
• Analyze procedures to reduce costs and lead times.
• Develop standardized processes and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional optimization across engineering, production, purchasing, fabrication, machining, and logistics.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and supplier performance.
• Identify risks and drive corrective actions.
