Job summary

Beringer Aero USA seeks an Industrial Operations Manager to design and scale the US industrial organization. You will own processes, data, and systems across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing, reporting to the CEO, with growth from a small team to 15–20 and a broad vendor network.

You will partner with the French teams to transfer know-how, drive ERP adoption, and ensure FAA regulatory compliance as the US operation expands, with on-site leadership in Greenville, SC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial/manufacturing operations.
• Aviation background with FAA familiarity required.
• Proven experience building or structuring industrial operations.
• Strong grasp of engineering through delivery in a regulated context.
• Experience managing multi-vendor supply chains.
• Ability to lead in a regulated quality environment.
• PM skills and problem-solving ability.
• French language a plus but not required.

The Role

As Industrial Operations Manager, you'll report directly to the CEO and have ownership over how Beringer Aero USA builds and scales its industrial organization. You'll work closely with the French Engineering and Industrial teams to define strategy, stand up processes, develop people, and establish the systems that carry the company through significant growth.

You will lead across four core functions: Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing.

You'll start with a team of approximately four people and build it to 15-20 over five years. In parallel, you'll manage a supply chain of 50-100 vendors. This is not a production floor management role. You're here to build the architecture around it, the structure, the standards, the culture, and the team.

What You'll Own

• Design and implement the industrial organization, processes, and management systems for the US operation
• Lead, develop, and coach functional managers and team leaders across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing
• Partner with the French Engineering and Industrial teams to transfer know-how and best practices to the US
• Drive the implementation of the ERP system and ensure full adoptionManage a vendor network of 50-100 suppliers, building robust purchasing and supply chain processes
• Establish KPIs, performance routines, and a continuous improvement culture
• Anticipate future capacity, workforce, and infrastructure needs as production volumes grow
• Support FAA regulatory compliance and represent the US industrial organization in audits and regulatory interactions

What They're Looking For

You have at least 10 years of experience in industrial and manufacturing operations, ideally in aviation. FAA regulatory familiarity is a real requirement. If you know the rules of the airworthiness game, you're already ahead.

You've managed managers and cross-functional teams, and you know what it takes to build an organization, not just run one.

On paper, you bring:

• Minimum 10 years of industrial/manufacturing experience
• Strong background in aviation (general aviation preferred); FAA regulatory familiarity required
• Proven experience structuring or building an industrial operation, department, or new activity
• Strong grasp of the full industrial chain: Engineering through Delivery
• Experience managing a multi-vendor supply chain
• Comfort in a regulated quality environment
• Project management and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a small or mid-sized company (highly desirable)
• Degree in mechanical or production engineering preferred; strong experience can substitute
• French language skills are a nice-to-have, not a requirement

The Location

This role is fully on-site in Greenville, South Carolina, and relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Greenville is one of the Southeast's most desirable mid-sized cities, growing, affordable, and a short drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains.

You will work closely with Beringer Aero's teams in France, and regular travel to France is expected, especially during the early phases of process development and ERP deployment.
