Clean Harbors Deer Park is seeking a safety-minded Maintenance Welder with millwright/boilermaker experience to maintain and repair equipment across the facility. The role operates under a union contract with a 4-on/4-off rotating shift, supporting a 24/7/365 operation, including weekends and holidays, and a wage of $37.82/hr with overtime opportunities.

Required are 3–5+ years of millwright/boilermaker experience, hydraulics troubleshooting, and welding pre-qualification tests.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of millwright and/or boilermaker experience.
• Hydraulics system troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience operating a cutting torch (propylene) for metal cutting/demolition.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet physical demands (lifting, bending, climbing, etc.).
• Passing Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test is required.
• Passing 1G or 3G Welding Pre-Qualification Test is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health & safety is the top priority and comply with safe work practices.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, disassembly, repair, and reassembly of parts.
• Test mechanical products/equipment after repair to verify performance and compliance with specs.
• Work with computer instrumentation to diagnose and execute work orders.
• Other duties as assigned.

This Facility Maintenance Repair II (Maintenance Welder) will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repairs on equipment throughout the facility.***This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Pay, schedule, and testing requirements are governed by the union contract.Work Schedule (per CBA):Rotating shift schedule consisting of 4 day shifts/4 off (on-call), followed by 4 night shifts/4 off (off-call).
