Job summary

RD Henry & Company in Wichita, KS, seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair woodworking machinery and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, safety, and collaboration with production to sustain uptime.

You will document repairs using a CMMS, support urgent maintenance needs, and participate in flexible shift scheduling as required.

Qualifications

2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting (cabinetry or woodworking a plus!).
Familiarity with CNC equipment, PLCs, and electrical systems.
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Willingness to work flexible shifts if needed and respond to urgent maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair woodworking machinery (CNC routers, edge banders, panel saws, etc.).
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Keep detailed records of repairs, inspections utilizing a CMMS system.
