Prysmian Group in Taunton, MA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 4th shift (7:30 pm–7:30 am) to diagnose, repair, and maintain wire and cable manufacturing equipment. You'll work with pneumatics, power transmission, welding, and machine shop tools to keep lines running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma and English proficiency; SAP experience is a plus. The team offers a stay bonus, boot allowance, medical options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Additional preferred or desired education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing machinery; install, relocate, and dismantle equipment as needed.
• Apply general mechanics across pneumatics and power transmission systems specific to wire and cable operations.
• Perform welding and pipefitting; operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and additional machine shop tools independently.
• Execute preventive maintenance, 5S routines, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Keep your work area orderly and safe at all times while following plant procedures.
• Ensure output meets standards defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems.
• Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
• Flex to overtime or alternate schedules on short notice; perform other tasks assigned by leadership.
• Arrive equipped with the necessary mechanics’ tools.
