Job summary

Ozinga Bros, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, structures, and pipe systems in a industrial setting.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical components, and operate cutting torches and welding equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Day/evening shifts with some overtime reflect production demands; travel is occasional where needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Welding, cutting torch, and fabricating experience with metal required.
• Class A or B CDL preferred.
• Basic electric wiring abilities preferred.
• Completion of a DOT physical examination and applicable drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose problems by listening to sounds and discuss with supervisors.
• Dismantle defective machines and install/reverse parts.
• Repair and maintain structural and machinery components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
