Acument Global Technologies - North America is seeking a skilled machine maintenance technician to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines.

You will perform diagnostics, dismantle devices, replace parts, set up metalworking tools, and participate in preventative maintenance while coordinating with electrical maintenance and safety teams.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area and volume; applies basic algebra and geometry concepts.
• Apply common sense to carry out instructions; address problems with several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsabilités

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to sounds to locate root causes of malfunction.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and replaces defective parts.
• Examines parts for imperfections and inspects used parts for dimensional changes.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts and installs special functional parts as needed
• Performs preventative maintenance: lubricates and cleans parts as scheduled
• Fabricates necessary parts and tests performance of equipment during maintenance
• Operates machines to test performance and uses lathe, drill press, grinder for parts fabrication
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines as required
• Works with Electrical Maintenance Tech to maintain electrical equipment and with EHS Manager on safety issues
• Keeps work order tickets current using MaintainX system
