Job summary

Amrize North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and systems, ensuring reliable operations with a strong safety culture. The role supports electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems while coordinating with multiple teams on maintenance activities.

Applicants should have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, be able to read drawings, and comply with LOTO and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in industrial maintenance or millwright work.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize maintenance activities independently or within a team.
• Follow Amrize safety policies including LOTO, WAH, and confined space procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, including conveyors, pumps, crushers, dryers, separators, gearboxes, and rotary equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Fabricate, weld, cut, and assemble mechanical components or replacement parts as needed.
• Install, align, and move mechanical equipment according to engineering specifications and drawings.
• Safely operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and service trucks as required.
• Document maintenance activities accurately and communicate findings to plant management.
• Collaborate with production, electrical, and operations teams to schedule and complete work efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with plant clean-up and other support activities as needed to maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies.
