Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for weekend shift in Ogden, UT. The role covers installation, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of production equipment to meet safety and production goals.

Qualifications include 4+ years in manufacturing maintenance, mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic skills, PLC experience, and HVAC knowledge; forklift cert preferred. Must work on-site with training and full-time hours.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED with technical training.
4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a production environment.
Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics and work orders.
Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
PLC experience and HVAC knowledge preferred.
OSHA forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Installs and maintains production machines and plant equipment.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance.
Diagnoses problems, replaces parts, tests and adjusts equipment.
Reads manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Performs regular preventive maintenance and some plumbing tasks.
Uses hand and power tools and material handling equipment.
Adheres to safety policies and procedures and company instructions.
