Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines running smoothly by maintaining and repairing machinery that converts recycled paper into corrugated boxes. You’ll work on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule.

Top candidates will have troubleshooting experience with 3-phase power, AC/DC motors, gearboxes, PLCs, and VFDs, plus boiler/steam, welding, conduit bending, and machining skills. Personal tools required.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting with 3-phase power/electricity.
• Hands-on experience with AC/DC motors and motor starters.
• Familiarity with gearboxes and gear reducers.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Electrical instrumentation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on complex machinery.
• Work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
