Job summary

Pratt Industries in Allentown, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 5:00 PM–5:00 AM shift. You’ll maintain and repair machinery that turns recycled paper into corrugated boxes, helping keep production running smoothly.

Role requires hands‑on experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, AC/DC motors, gearboxes, PLCs and VFDs. Personal tools are required; strong safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting electrical systems including 3-phase power and motor starters.
• Hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gear reducers, PLCs and VFDs.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and related components.
• Experience with electrical instrumentation and logic controllers is a plus.
• Knowledge of boiler/steam systems, welding/fabricating, conduit bending, and machining (Lathe, Mill, Press) is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on complex machinery.
• Work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
