Job summary

Pratt Industries in Carlisle, PA is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join a GREAT team. Starting pay $28–$34 per hour, based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to work on multi-craft systems turning recycled paper into packaging products.

Technicians will maintain and repair machinery, troubleshoot electrical instrumentation, PLCs, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics in a fast-paced production environment, with safety as a priority. Position is full-time, on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical instrumentation.
• Ability to get online to troubleshoot logic controllers/VFDs.
• Boiler/Steam experience is preferred.
• Welding and fabricating skills are needed.
• Conduit bending and basic metalworking.
• Machining skills including lathe/mill/press.
• Strong focus on workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machinery involved in turning recycled paper into packaging products.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems including 3-phase power, motors, and starters.
• Work with PLCs and VFDs to diagnose and fix issues.
• Perform welding, fabrication, conduit bending, and machining as required.
• Ensure safe operation in a fast-paced production environment.
