Job summary

Blue Polymers is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep extrusion process lines and automated equipment in safe, efficient operation. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime.

Required are a High School diploma or GED, 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance, and English proficiency; Spanish is a plus. The role includes shifts with early mornings and night coverage, and on-site work at our Riverside facility.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, vocational coursework preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance environments.
• Languages: English required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain extrusion process line equipment and related machinery.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and address malfunctions promptly.
• Troubleshoot equipment with production personnel and document work orders.
• Operate forklifts and man-lifts as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized shop areas and inventory, and report parts used.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular machine maintenance.
• Safely handle chemicals used in equipment maintenance.
