Tangentusa is seeking a skilled technician in Winchester, Virginia, to perform troubleshooting and maintenance on production lines. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs and maintaining various machinery. Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance for production lines including repairs.
Work from schedules, work orders, manuals, and blueprints.
Maintain, repair, and install various machine parts and equipment.
Effectively communicate with peers and supervision.
Skills
Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (including 120/480 volts)
Experience in machine operation and troubleshooting
Perform troubleshooting, preventive and demand maintenance for production lines including electrical and mechanical repairs, replace components such as: motors and motor drives, pumps, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, transmissions, make adjustments keeping in mind quality, tolerances and order of operations.
Work from schedules, work orders, manuals, blueprints, charts and instructions.
Use precision measuring devise (multimeters, calipers, etc.)
Maintain, repair and install a wide variety of machine parts, components and equipment.
Effectively communicate with peers, production associates, and supervision.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must have knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (including 120/480 volts)
Must have experience and knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting
Must demonstrate an understanding of safe work environment and have a proven ability to work safely
Must have a solid work history showing the ability to maintain a good attendance record
Must have your own set of standard tools
Plastic extrusion experience is a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree/certificate in related field or
Comparable manufacturing experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Intermittent periods of crouching, kneeling, working in confined areas and in varied temperatures and outdoors as necessary to safely service equipment.
