Job summary
The Mosaic Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on plant and mine equipment at our North American facilities. You will use a range of hand tools, welding equipment, and powered devices to service pumps, fans, turbines, gearboxes, and conveyors, while following Mosaic's safety standards and procedures.
The role requires 4+ years of industrial mechanical experience or completion of an accredited apprenticeship.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of related industrial mechanical experience or completion of an accredited apprenticeship program.
Responsibilities
- Repair machinery and equipment in accordance with established job plans.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Perform emergency or off‑time repairs and lubricate/PM equipment.
- Assist with crane operations, rigging, and root‑cause failure analysis.
- Train and become certified to operate boom trucks, large forklifts, and aerial man lifts.
- Report safety, environmental, or operational issues to management.
