Job summary

Quantix SCS LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance and Production Team, ensuring optimum operation of equipment, facilities, and grounds. You’ll troubleshoot issues, interpret electrical diagrams, and use CMMS Maximo among other tools to maintain performance.

The ideal candidate will have basic tools, an electrical voltmeter, and good communication skills, with willingness to work all shifts. Welding experience and palletizing knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic tools and an electrical voltmeter required.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to work all shifts, holidays and weekends.
• Team player with good communication.
• Some welding experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS Maximo preferred.
• Knowledge of bagging/palletizing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate findings effectively.
• Interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical diagrams.
• Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and CMMS software.
• Operate dock/truck equipment and other mechanical devices as needed.
• Follow PPE and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Maintain attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Assist in maintenance of facility components and conveyors.
