Job summary

Glassfab Tempering Services in Aurora, Colorado, is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our team. You’ll learn to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems alongside an experienced crew.

No prior maintenance experience is required; we’ll train the right person with a strong work ethic and interest in mechanical and electrical systems. This role offers hands-on learning, safety training, and opportunities to grow into more advanced maintenance

Qualifications

No prior maintenance experience required; willing to train.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Interest in mechanical and electrical systems.
Attended or completed a technical, vocational, or trade school program.
Comfort reading basic mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and manuals.
Ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist with preventive and routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
Assist with diagnosing equipment problems and identifying potential causes
Perform inspections and basic equipment adjustments
Use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
Assist experienced technicians with equipment repairs and installations
Learn to read basic mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals
Keep maintenance records and documentation
Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
Work closely with production employees and maintenance personnel
