Job summary

CompuCycle is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support safe and efficient operation of our processing equipment. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair shredders, conveyors, motors, and hydraulic and electrical systems to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SSI shredders or similar equipment and excels at diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and improving equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience with shredders, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes is highly preferred.
• SSI shredders or comparable equipment experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair shredders and processing equipment.
• Inspect and service conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify recurring issues.
• Assist with repairs while adhering to safety and quality standards.
