Job summary

Drive in Charlotte, MI is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support a high‑volume automotive injection molding operation. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated production equipment to maximize uptime, quality, and efficiency.

Work with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Production to resolve equipment issues, participate in start-ups and process improvements, and ensure safety and documentation compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial automation, controls, robotics, or manufacturing maintenance.
• Automotive or plastic injection molding experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, sensors, servos, VFDs, robots, and automated systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with FANUC, Yaskawa, ABB or similar robotic systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
