Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks a Maintenance Technician for the Napa Valley region. The role focuses on mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include diagnosing root causes, sourcing parts, and performing repairs using electrical, mechanical, and control system knowledge. Traveling may be required for site coverage, and the position offers advancement through ATS programs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, diagnosing root causes.
• Sources parts, supplies and repair items as needed.
• Performs maintenance per industry standards.
• Operates machining tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may weld.
• Follows 5S, housekeeping, and safety policies.
• Updates CMMS history and CI participation for cost savings.
• Mentors lower level technicians and participates in training.
• Completes on-the-job and technical self-study programs.
• Travel may be required.
