Job summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Napa Valley region with relocation assistance available. The role supports mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems work in a factory environment.

Candidates should have an associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, and be proficient with hand tools and machining setups.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently perform maintenance per industry standards.
• Set up and operate machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and perform welding as needed.
• Update CMMS history and records.
• Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Use predictive maintenance data to monitor equipment performance.
