Job summary

Laurelcrest Labs LLC in McMinnville, OR is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems and manufacturing equipment in a tight‑tolerance hemp ingredients facility.

You will inspect HVAC, boilers, air handling, pumps, and other equipment, maintain an organized parts inventory, follow safety procedures, and help minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and correct repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience.
• Physically capable of demanding tasks and standing all day.
• Prior mechanical maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Safe use of common hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to read manuals, instructions, and diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple needs.
• Good organizational and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and equipment.
• Inspect HVAC, air handling, filters, and electrical components as trained.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and repair as needed.
• Replace worn components on pumps, gearboxes, and motors.
• Assist with installation, modification, and improvement projects.
• Maintain organized inventory of parts, lubricants, and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; report hazards promptly.
