Job summary

Seltzer's Smokehouse Meats is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a safety-conscious environment.

You will perform preventative maintenance on machines, read blueprints and schematics, and operate forklifts and packaging equipment. This role requires a 2‑year technical degree or 3+ years’ related experience and basic electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in maintenance or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot production machinery and plant facilities.
• Read manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Use hand and power tools; operate packaging machinery and forklifts.
• Maintain safety, GMP, and preventive maintenance processes.
